PAUL RICCIO
Originally from East Rochester New York, Paul spent his 1st season as a golf professional at Craig Hill CC (now Deerfield) where he became friendly with the Sluman family. He left Rochester that winter for Florida where he worked at the PGA National Golf Club under former PGA president Lou Strong. Paul was hired by former PGA president Frank Cardi to teach at the Rockaway Hunting Club on Long Island where he spent two seasons. He then moved to northern New Jersey to work at the Edgewood CC for Larry Mullen for two seasons before taking a position at Alpine CC also in New Jersey under Gary Danback.Paul was contacted by PGA Tour player Larry Ziegler to be the director of instruction at the Emerald Hills CC in Hollywood Florida where he spent three years. |

| Paul left golf to persue other interests, but found after a number of years that was a mistake... that golf was his passion. While visiting his mother in Rochester in 2006, he visited his good friend Brad Sluman, who incouraged him to move back to Rochester where he is now the Director of Instruction at the Lake Shore CC in the summer months and spends winters in Houston Texas. Paul has spent the past 13 years studying the teaching theories of Tommy Armour and Jim McClean. |
